On October 21st, the Fifth Beijing Xishan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Season was unveiled at Shougang Park in Shijingshan District, Beijing. The event was supported by the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the People’s Government of Shijingshan District. Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital, the organizer of this event, established the Specialized AllianceofPreventive Medicine in Shijingshan District, aiming to promote capacity building of grassroots medical institutions in preventive treatment specialties, enhance primary health services, and leverage the advantages of TCM in the prevention and treatment of major diseases. The event also marked the establishment of the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Medical Engineering Integration Medical Center, the Beijing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Emergency and Critical Illness Treatment Rehabilitation Center, and the Tsinghua University Medical Engineering Cross-Scholar Studio. Attending delegates also visited the exhibition area showcasing TCM research achievements at Tsinghua University and TCM studios at Yuquan Hospital.
