Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital "AHA ECC Program Training Site " was unveiled

Zhou Yuehong, Chen Xuyan, and other leaders and supervisors of relevant departments of BTCH attended the event. Graeme Foulds, President of Asia Pacific of AHA Laerdal International Training Center, Bo Huijie, Managing director of Greater China of AHA Laerdal International Training Center, and Cong Luhong, Vice Director of the Education Department of China-Japan Friendship Hospital were invited to attend the event.

On behalf of AHA Laerdal International Training Center, Bo Huijie announced that after months of preparation, BCTH has been approved in all aspects, including venue, equipment and instructor qualifications, and officially became the "AHA ECC Program Training Site." According to Graeme Foulds, the AHA, founded in 1924, is an authority for theoretical research, training and education in resuscitation, and is responsible for the development and updating of cardiopulmonary resuscitation guidelines.Over the years, AHA has developed many excellent CPR and cardiovascular first aid training courses, providing professional training programs to all sectors of society, in an effort to reduce cardiovascular disability and mortality, and improve the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients. In the future, BCTH will be able to use the cutting-edge international resources of AHA to keep the level of cardiovascular emergency resuscitation in the hospital synchronized with the international level, and save more lives.

Chen Xuyan thanked AHA Laerdal International Training Center for its help and support to the hospital. She pointed out that this award marks that the hospital's life support and first aid skills training ability has entered a new height, which is both an honor and a responsibility. BCTH will build a more standardized training system with high-quality first-aid teaching team strength, comprehensively improve the first-aid skills of medical staff, carry out standardized first-aid skills training for grassroots medical, social organizations and the public, improve the ability of all sectors of society to deal with cardiac arrest personnel, to save patients' lives to the greatest extent.

As a representative of the supervisor, Feng Lili, deputy director of the Emergency Department, and Zhang Zhenyu, deputy director of liver ICU, spoke respectively. Working on the front lines of the clinic, the two doctors learned the importance of timely and high-quality CPR in a time of crisis when cardiac arrest occurs. They said on behalf of all the instructor of AHA ECC Program Training Site, they will strictly in accordance with the course design, carry out standardized training and assessment for students by using international teaching concepts and methods, help more people master high-quality, efficient cardiopulmonary resuscitation technology, practice medical workers to pursue life first heart.

Zhou Yuehong concluded by pointing out that as the affiliated hospital of Tsinghua University, BCTH will thoroughly implement the strategy of Healthy China and provide medical and health services oriented to the needs of the people. Emergency medicine is the key development direction of the hospital. In order to improve the emergency first aid ability, BCTH constantly strengthens the emergency first aid professional personnel training and team construction. The approval of "AHA ECC Program Training Site" is not only the affirmation of the first aid skill training level of BCTH, but also a new opportunity and a new platform to show the teaching ability of the hospital. At the same time, BCTH insists on fulfilling its mission and social responsibilities as a public hospital. In the future, it will further expand its cooperation with social organizations, especially the surrounding Tiantongyuan community.
