Computer Aided surgery (CAS) is an interdisciplinary research filed. It integrates the knowledge of clinical medicine and mechanical engineering, material science, computer science, network technology and so on. Its purpose is to utilize computer and related innovative technology to help the doctor to perform better diagnosis, surgical planning, surgical navigation, and minimally invasive surgical operation. At present, I am engaged in the research and development of minimally invasive orthopedics surgery, ultrasound fusion imaging, multi-mode image guided interventional surgery.
