The School of Clinical Medicine leverages Tsinghua's premier clinical, public health, and health management resources, as well as modern scientific and technological resources to address primary liver cancer, a significant health threat in China. To decrease incidence rates and improve survival rates, an action plan has been drafted that examines systematic approaches for liver cancer prevention and treatment with particular attention given to screening, early diagnosis, precision medicine, rehabilitation care, comprehensive management, whole life-cycle management, hierarchical diagnosis, treatment, and quality control. The liver cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment program, once applied to both county and urban demonstration bases aided with proper evaluation methods, will be enhanced and implemented nationwide.
